3. SMS Messaging and Phone Authentication
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Effort Lab. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to opt out.
Phone authentication requires you to opt-in to receive SMS messages. These messages are used solely for account verification and security purposes. You may opt-out at any time by texting STOP, though this may limit your ability to use certain features of the application.
4. Community Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct
Effort Lab is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all users. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- •Profanity and Offensive Language: Use of vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate language
- •Hate Speech: Content that promotes discrimination, hostility, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- •Bullying and Harassment: Intimidating, threatening, or harassing other users, including repeated unwanted contact or malicious behavior
- •Inappropriate Content: Sharing sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material
- •Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or entity
- •Spam: Sending unsolicited messages or promotional content
Important Notice:
Violation of these community guidelines will result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund. We reserve the right to remove any user who violates these terms at our sole discretion.
5. Subscription and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Users terminated for violating these Terms of Use are not eligible for refunds.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Effort Lab, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of content you create in Effort Lab. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide our services. This includes training data, session information, and performance metrics you input into the system.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Effort Lab is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The application is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or educational advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Effort Lab and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Effort Lab after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
